Every Biome in the Prismatic Realms has its own Environmental Expression - describing the natural forces at work and the Expression with which they Stain the local Prisma.

Lower Order Environments

Lower Order Environments are regions marked by a clear, dominant force of Flow, Iteration, or Decay where the majority of the local Prisma has a corresponding Lower Order Expression

These are as follows:

Morphic Biomes

Morphic Biomes are environments where Flow is the dominant natural force - resulting in the large majority of the region’s Prisma being Morphic in nature.

Commonly Morphic Biomes

Morphic Biomes are largely considered to be dynamic and aquatic natural environments, where the weather, geography, flora, and fauna are malleable and follow ongoing currents of change.

The commonly cited regions are as follows: Oceans Coastlines Rivers Restless Lakes

The weather patterns and phenomena can also be a large insight as to the Morphic nature of a particular region, these being: Thunderstorms Heavy Wind Moving Water

Morphic Biomes - much like the signature Morphic Prisma - serve to flow around anything that enters them, often sweeping travelers into their ongoing currents and flow.

Stratic Biomes

Stratic Biomes are environments where Iteration is the dominant natural force - resulting in the large majority of the region’s Prisma being Stratic in nature.

Commonly Stratic Biomes

Stratic Biomes are largely considered to be ancient and layered natural environments, where the weather, geography, flora, and fauna are dense and built upon aeons of organic deposit.

The commonly cited regions are as follows: Forests Plains Mountains Glaciers

The weather patterns and phenomena can also be a large insight as to the Stratic nature of a particular region, these being: Temperate Still Ongoing deposits of Earth and Stone

Stratic Biomes - much like the signature Blue Prisma - serve to patiently integrate and build upon themselves with anything that enters them.

Entropic Biomes

Entropic Biomes are environments where Decay is the dominant natural force - resulting in the large majority of the region’s Prisma being Entropic in nature.

Commonly Entropic Biomes

Entropic Biomes are largely considered to be extreme natural environments, where the weather, geography, flora, and fauna all serve to decompose and break down mind and matter alike.

The commonly cited regions are as follows: Badlands Deserts Tundras Swamps

The weather patterns and phenomena can also be a large insight as to the Entropic nature of a particular region, these being: Wildfires Poisons Extreme Acids and Bases

Entropic Biomes - much like the signature Red Prisma - serve to pierce, corrode, and break down anything that enters them.
